The Casa CAS8012F1Z is a 77cm induction cooktop with five zones, each with a Boost setting for fast heating. The two zones on each side can be bridged into a flex zone for larger cookware, and a Ø230mm, 2200W centre zone (2600W Boost) handles big pots and pans.
A touch slider sets nine power levels on each zone, and every zone has its own timer of up to 99 minutes. Pan detection shows when a pan is unsuitable, and the cooktop goes on standby after one minute if a small item such as a knife or fork is left on a zone.
The key lock prevents unintended use, and the residual heat indicator shows "H" while a zone is still hot. The cooktop has no plug and must be hard-wired by a licensed electrician on a dedicated circuit rated for its 44.55A maximum current (220–240V).
